Business Manager – Welling

Basic Salary: £35,000 + OTE: £68,000+

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:30am – 6:00pm, with a day off during the week. Closed on Sundays.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Business Manager to join a successful automotive dealership in Welling. You will be working alongside a high-performing sales team within a busy and customer-focused environment.

The Role

The purpose of this role is to lead and manage a controlled sales process through regular coaching, robust performance management, and continuous customer interaction. You will play a key role in supporting Sales Executives to maximise vehicle sales while promoting finance, insurance, and additional products, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the sales team to achieve vehicle sales and profitability targets.
  • Drive finance and insurance performance while maintaining compliance standards.
  • Coach and develop Sales Executives through regular training and performance reviews.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, delivering an exceptional buying experience.
  • Ensure all sales processes are followed effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain FCA compliance and industry best practices at all times.
  • Support the dealership in achieving customer satisfaction and retention objectives.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven sales success within the automotive industry.
  • Previous experience as a Business Manager is highly desirable; however, strong Senior Sales Executives looking to take the next step will also be considered.
  • A driven, motivated, and disciplined individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to consistently deliver against performance targets and inspire a team to achieve results.
  • Strong understanding of finance and insurance products.
  • FCA approval or the ability to obtain FCA accreditation.

  • Professional, presentable, ambitious, and proactive.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Experienced in working within a target-driven sales environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential.
