Are you an experienced Accountant with a passion for the automotive industry? We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established main car dealership as a Dealership Accountant, playing a key role in driving financial performance and supporting senior management.

About the Role:

As the Dealership Accountant, you will oversee all aspects of financial management across the site, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and financial control. This is a hands-on role—ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full management of dealership accounts, including month-end reporting
• Budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Monitoring and managing cash flow, profit margins, and KPIs
• Liaising with department heads (sales, service, parts) to support business performance
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations
• Managing a small accounts/admin team

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as an Accountant within the motor trade (essential)
• Knowledge of Kerridge, CDK, Pinewood, or similar DMS systems
• Excellent financial reporting and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of dealership operations
• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
• Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
