Vehicle Technician – Main Dealer

Basic Salary up to £36,000 (flexible for the right candidate) + Monthly Bonus
OTE £42,000+

Monday–Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm | No Weekends

Location: Tunbridge Wells

A busy and well-established main dealer is looking to recruit a skilled and qualified Vehicle Technician to join their experienced workshop team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician currently working in an independent garage who is looking to move into a main dealer environment, as well as those already working within a franchised dealership.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for carrying out high-quality vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs while maintaining strong communication with the service team.

Key duties include:

• Routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs (brakes, suspension, exhausts, etc.)
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer diagnostic tools
• Completing software updates and system upgrades
• Providing accurate repair times and identifying additional work
• Maintaining clear and accurate job records

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• F-Gas certification
• Hybrid and/or Electric Vehicle (HEV/EV) qualification or experience
• Proven workshop experience (main dealer or independent)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Own tools (advantageous, not essential)

• £500 per month when 110% of labour target is achieved
