Our client is a well-established, high-performing main dealership in Tunbridge Wells and is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and develop their dynamic sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive Sales Manager looking to take the next step with a reputable brand and a thriving business.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering sales strategies and budgets across new and used vehicles, accessories, and associated products
  • Driving team performance to achieve sales, financial, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting the sales and administrative teams
  • Managing day-to-day showroom operations while ensuring an exceptional customer experience
  • Maximising opportunities through digital sales channels to improve lead conversion and retention

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise sales opportunities through a structured and consistent sales process
  • Maintain outstanding customer service standards at all times
  • Motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Work closely with the manufacturer to achieve volume and KPI targets
  • Monitor performance against budget and business objectives
  • Ensure efficient use of all resources, including staff, systems, and stock

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager within a franchised main dealership
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-focused with a strong commercial mindset
  • Professional, personable, and an excellent communicator
  • Full UK driving licence essential
