THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of a busy service department.

You’ll lead from the front, manage and develop your team, drive departmental performance and ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the service department on a daily basis.
• Manage, motivate and develop the service team.
• Drive customer satisfaction, retention and overall customer experience.
• Monitor and improve departmental KPIs and profitability.
• Maximise workshop efficiency, productivity and utilisation.
• Ensure high standards of quality, compliance and manufacturer processes.
• Coach and support your team to achieve individual and departmental targets.
• Deal confidently with customer escalations and ensure issues are resolved professionally.
• Work closely with the wider dealership management team to drive overall business performance.

ABOUT YOU

• We’re looking for an experienced automotive professional who can demonstrate:
• Previous experience as a Service Manager within a franchised/main dealership.
• Strong knowledge of service and workshop operations.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.
• A strong understanding of departmental KPIs and commercial performance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The confidence to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• A professional, driven and commercially aware approach.
• A genuine passion for the motor industry.
