Are you an experienced automotive sales professional with a passion for performance, strong leadership capabilities, and an eye for retail opportunity? We are seeking a Used Car Sales Controller to join our dynamic dealership team and help drive the success of our used car operations.

About the Role

As a Used Car Sales Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day performance of the used car department. You’ll support and guide the sales team, manage stock, and ensure customers receive an exceptional buying experience while maximising profitability across all used vehicle channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive used car sales performance to meet and exceed departmental targets
• Support, coach, and motivate the sales team to deliver an exceptional customer journey
• Manage pricing, stock presentation, and online listings to maximise visibility and conversion
• Oversee part-exchange valuations and ensure accurate, professional appraisals
• Monitor enquiries and lead management, ensuring timely and effective follow-up
• Work closely with the Head of Business to deliver departmental goals and strategies

About You

• Proven experience in automotive sales, ideally in a controller, senior executive, or sales management role
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• A customer-first approach with the drive to achieve results
• Full UK driving licence

Hours of Work

Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:30 (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Saturdays: 08:30 – 13:00 (1 in 5 rota)
