This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, results-driven Sales Manager to join a successful, high-performing dealership in Worthing. Our client is a reputable automotive brand with a thriving business and a strong customer base. They are now seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead their Used Car operation and drive continued success.

Role & Responsibilities

As Used Car Sales Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the dealership, driving performance and ensuring exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and budgets across used vehicles, accessories, and related services
  • Leading, mentoring, and motivating a high-performing sales team
  • Managing day-to-day showroom operations to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring consistent delivery of the dealership’s sales process
  • Monitoring performance against sales, profit, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Working collaboratively with the manufacturer to achieve volume and quality objectives
  • Embracing digital channels to increase lead conversion and customer retention
  • Ensuring effective use of resources including stock, systems, and staffing

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager within a franchised/main dealership
  • Strong leadership and team-management skills
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
