Used Car Sales Manager – Main Dealership

Location: Worthing

Basic Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE

OTE: £60,000+

Monday - Friday 8:30am-18:00pm (1day off in the week)

Saturday - 9:00am-17:00pm

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Transaction Manager looking to take the next step into a Sales Manager position, or for an already established Used Car Sales Manager.

Our client is a reputable automotive brand with a thriving business and a strong customer base. They are now seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead their Used Car operation and drive continued success.

Role & Responsibilities

As Used Car Sales Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the dealership, driving performance and ensuring exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing sales strategies and budgets across used vehicles, accessories, and related services
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating a high-performing sales team
• Managing day-to-day showroom operations to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Ensuring consistent delivery of the dealership’s sales process
• Monitoring performance against sales, profit, and customer satisfaction targets
• Working collaboratively with the manufacturer to achieve volume and quality objectives
• Embracing digital channels to increase lead conversion and customer retention
• Ensuring effective use of resources including stock, systems, and staffing

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager within a franchised/main dealership
• Strong leadership and team-management skills
• Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence is essential
