Basic Salary up to £35,000 DOE | OTE £65,000

Our client is a well-established, high-performing franchised main dealership in Sidcup, seeking a hands-on, results-driven Used Car Manager to take ownership of a successful used car operation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced automotive professional looking to step into a key leadership role with a reputable brand and a thriving business.

The Role

As Used Car Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and delivering sales strategies and budgets across the used car department, accessories, and related services
• Driving performance to achieve sales, financial, and customer satisfaction targets
• Leading, mentoring, and supporting the sales and admin teams
• Managing day-to-day used car operations while ensuring an excellent customer experience
• Maximising digital sales channels to improve lead conversion and customer retention

Key Responsibilities

• Maximise used car sales opportunities through a structured and consistent sales process
• Maintain outstanding customer service standards at all times
• Motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
• Work closely with the manufacturer to achieve volume and KPI targets
• Monitor and control performance against budget and targets
• Ensure efficient use of all resources, including staff, systems, and stock

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or Sales Manager within a franchised main dealership
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills
• Highly organised with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Results-driven with a strong commercial mindset
• Professional, personable, and an excellent communicator
• Full UK driving licence essential
