Are you a qualified Vehicle Technician looking for your next challenge?
Our client, a well-established and busy main dealer in Canterbury, is expanding their experienced workshop team and is looking to recruit a skilled Technician. Applications are welcomed from candidates with or without main dealer experience—this is a great opportunity for technicians currently in an independent or fast-fit environment who want to step into a main dealer role.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and servicing (including brakes, discs, exhausts, etc.)
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults accurately
• Inspect vehicle engines, systems, and onboard diagnostics
• Repair, maintain, and upgrade vehicle computer and electronic systems
• Provide accurate estimates for repair costs, timescales, and required work
• Liaise closely with the Service Team, keeping them informed at all times
• Schedule and advise on future vehicle maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and faults identified

Key Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
• Own tools (desirable)
• Experience in an independent garage or fast-fit environment welcomed
